Every year – thanks to the support of TransAlta and the Calgary Stampede – our show has grown in the ability to deliver the highest quality entertainment - provided by the world renowned Young Canadians and our equally amazing cast of guest artists.
Ta’Rea Campbell is our principal singer and one of the current stars of the Lion King on Broadway. Ta’Rea’s credits include: Little Shop of Horrors and Aida among many others.
Canadian Pop Star, and Canadian Idol winner Eva Avila will perform her Number One Hit “Give Me the Music”. The debut single and title track is one of Eva’s personal favorites on the album. “Give Me The Music” was an instant success in radio landing it an immediate Top 30 spot on the CHR charts.
The Calgary Stampede Extreme Motorcross Dream Team – the World Famous Motorcycle Globe of Death performs death defying aerial acrobatics. The acrobatics are state of the art and the thrills never stop.
Two motorcycle teams perform among singing – dancing and pyrotechnics. In this never before seen production, the motorcycle teams will hurl through the air and circle inside the Globe of Death creating a spectacle that will have you on the edge of your seat.
Special Guest Comedian Tim Nutt expertly explores the hilarity in everyday life. You’ll delight to his bizarre concepts and twisted viewpoints, all delivered with extra-planetary talent. A favorite on stages from coast to coast, this 13 year comedy Veteran has brought his unique style to Radio and Television and he is quite proud of his “Comedy Now” special for CTV and the Comedy Network.
The Russian Bar was developed as an exclusive entertainment presentation for the Tsars of Russia, and is famous throughout the world for its incredible grace and beauty. The presentation of a double Russian Bar is a first at the Calgary Stampede and unique in the modern world of entertainment.
Following on the dramatic beauty of the Double Russian Bar – is the beauty of the amazing Silk Aerial Ballet of Laetitia and Artur. The winners of a Special Jury prize at the International Circus Festival in Europe – Laetitia and Artur depict the incredible lightness of being through their award winning artistry.
The power of the music of Michael Jackson explodes on stage. Daniel Celebre (pronounced “Chellibray”), from Nobleton Ontario, was inspired to dance professionally by Michael Jackson’s performances. Daniel Celebre was hired as a principal dancer for Michael Jackson’s This Is It concert tour that was cancelled 18 days before its first show when Jackson died on June 25, 2009. He also appears prominently in the This Is It film also released in 2009. He will appear at the 2010 Calgary Stampede Grandstand Show as a featured performer.
