Calgary – Calgary Arts Academy is excited to host the grand opening of their new Education Centre, located on the Calgary Stampede’s Youth Campus. Twelve years of planning has led to the vibrant and innovative learning campus for 300 Grade 4 to 9 students.
The new facility was made possible through a partnership between Calgary Arts Academy, Government of Alberta, the Calgary Stampede and the Calgary Stampede Foundation which involved transforming the historic Weston Bakery into a unique, modern learning space now providing synergies in education and the arts between the Stampede’s youth programs (Calgary Showband and The Young Canadians), Calgary Arts Academy and the broader community for the benefit of all youth.
