Calgary – Based on the incredible demand of the “Hell or High Water” t-shirts, the official Calgary Stampede Store has introduced a kids’ version cleverly branded “Heck or High Water” available online now. To date, the t-shirts have raised more than $500,000, which will all go directly to the Canadian Red Cross Alberta Floods Fund.

“We are overwhelmed with the amount of support that Canadians have shown Alberta,” said Deanne Carson, vice-president marketing and external relations, Calgary Stampede. “We would love to sign a cheque for more than a $1 million dollars to this relief fund by the end of Stampede. We are so grateful to the public and corporate Calgary who are supporting this campaign and enabling us to donate a significant amount to those people in our back yards of southern Alberta who may have lost everything.”
Volunteering their space, time and energy the Calgary community has banded together to ensure that each ordered t-shirt is delivered. More than 80 volunteers banded together to prepare the more than 10,000 orders received daily for delivery within Calgary and around the world.
Net proceeds raised by the “Hell or High Water” t-shirt sales will be donated to the Red Cross in an effort to help flood victims. Those interested in supporting southern Alberta by purchasing a “Hell or High Water” t-shirt or “Heck or High Water” kids’ t-shirt are asked to visit http://store.calgarystampede.com.
