Calgary – On Monday, September 24, 2018, six talented and accomplished young women will compete for the 2019 Calgary Stampede Queen and Princesses titles. The crowning will take place that evening, immediately following the final portion of the intense, month-long contest.
The top six contestants will demonstrate their horsemanship skills and public speaking a final time, before one queen and two princesses are chosen and crowned.
Throughout their reign, the Royal Trio will make more than 400 appearances as ambassadors of the Stampede, promoting western heritage and values in Calgary and around the world.
