The Stampede’s community programs share our western heritage and values and are focused on meeting the needs of other community minded organizations. Our committees and donations program support a number of organizations through in-kind donations and by providing volunteer time and expertise at events and celebrations in Calgary and southern Alberta.
The Calgary Stampede is committed to contributing to the betterment of our community.
Community Event Bookings
Members of the community can invite one or several of the Stampede’s committees to a community event. Downtown Attractions, Promotion, Stampede Showband, Stampede Showriders, Stampede Caravan, Stampede Indian Princess and Stampede Royalty committees all bring our famous western hospitality and fun to events.
This group of dedicated volunteer committees attended more than 500 community events in 2012.

Community Donation Program
The Calgary Stampede provides Stampede-branded merchandise for local, not-for-profit organizations who enhance the community and whose membership and activities are open to the public. The merchandise must be used for a local not-for-profit or charitable fundraiser. In 2012, the Donation program supported more than 160 organizations with Centennial merchandise for Southern Alberta fundraisers.
