Calgary - Just in time for summer’s biggest outdoor event, the Calgary Stampede has launched a new line of cowboy (and cowgirl!) boots, only available at the Calgary Stampede Store.
This unique line of private label cowboy boots is exclusive to the Calgary Stampede. One hundred per cent Canadian made by Calgary Stampede partner Canada West Boots, each pair features incredible detailing, including hand-picked leather finishes and fancy stitch patterns.
“We continue to embrace our values in everything we do, representing our strong western pride through merchandise,” explains Stephen LeManne, Calgary Stampede Merchandising manager. “Made to withstand everything from the Midway to the Rodeo, the limited-edition 2013 Calgary Stampede boots are incredibly fashion forward.”
To ensure these unique boots will last longer than the longest night out at Stampede, each pair has undergone a “Goodyear Welt Process” – an eight stage process in which the sole is stitched to the welt and then stitched to the vamp and insole, increasing overall durability and comfort.
Cowgirls looking for a boot that will transition from day to night will find their way into a pair of Louisiana Daisy Papaya, while those wanting to leave a lasting impression can do just that by sliding on a pair of Sun Burnt Fish Scale. Cowboys can slip into a pair of the trendy, yet versatile Chocolate Glazed Turus.
