Calgary – The Calgary Stampede Market has a new look and some great new offerings this year. Located in the BMO Centre, the Stampede Market is an all-encompassing location to shop during the Calgary Stampede, July 3 – 12, 2015.

The newly designed Stampede Market is your shopping and entertainment destination. Two hundred retailers showcase new products, tasty treats and unique choices you won’t find anywhere else. You will find a mix of your favourite brand names, local sellers and international vendors. The 2015 Stampede Market is home to more than 25 new products and services, including Hudson’s Bay, Leon Leather, the Brigade Range Appliances mobile showroom and much more.

Etsy, the online marketplace for all things handmade and vintage, makes their first appearance at the Calgary Stampede, with a dedicated Etsy Market in Hall A of the BMO Centre. The Etsy Market will feature 20 local artisans from across Alberta showcasing their unique products, typically found exclusively online, in an in-person retail setting. You will find everything from handmade jewelry to locally made bath and body products, maple syrups, and trendy clothing items.

If food is of interest, Hall A also houses the Calgary Co-op Kitchen Theatre where guests can enjoy dueling chefs, celebrity chef demonstrations, a police and fire chili cook off, a kids’ chili cook off and even guest appearances by The Food Network’s Emily Richards. With more than 75 cooking shows programmed throughout Stampede time, there will certainly be something that tantalizes everyone’s taste buds! Visit the Calgary Stampede Blog for a taste of what’s to come.

The Stampede Market is fun for everyone! Check out Buckaroos, the place to be for kids 12 and under, at the Calgary Stampede. Buckaroos has a new location in the Stampede Market and the space features a variety of kid-friendly activities including button making, plasma cars, a jungle gym, two inflatable bouncy structures, a rest area for parents to take a break as well as the newly expanded Imagination Station featuring the innovative Imagination Playground blocks.

Stroll the walkway of 100 years of Stampede Posters and peruse displays of historical Stampede photographs and enjoy a bite to eat at the Wonton King casual dining restaurant.
