Calgary Stampede Cutting Horse Competition - The Calgary Stampede Cutting Horse Competition showcases the top cutting horses in the world and offers spectators an opportunity to cheer on the horses and riders as they compete. In a cutting competition, each horse and rider is faced with a herd of cattle and two and a half minutes on the clock.

World Association of Marching Showbands World Championship - Competitors will faceoff two at a time, battling against one another in an ultimate drumline showdown. As other band members surround to cheer them on, the judges’ watch for technique and showmanship. This competition spotlights a drumline’s unique talents and creativity, as well as their ability to move a crowd

- Parade Marshal Amber Marshall, 2019 Poster Artist Rebecca Shuttleworth and Monster Energy Compound rider Kassie Boone are just a few of the talented women joining us for this year’s Calgary Stampede, showcasing women in western culture.
- Catch up with a heavy horse competitor as they prepare their brawny and beautiful horses for the Heavy Horse Show, happening tomorrow night in the Nutrien Western Event Centre.
- Marking the 100th anniversary of Charles M. Russell’s special exhibition at the 1919 Victory Stampede, this show will be the greatest assembly of Russell masterpieces in the last decade.
