Cowboy Up Challenge - A high paced display of horsemanship and equine athleticism, horse and rider teams maneuver through obstacles in a race against the clock during the Cowboy Up Challenge. If that isn’t exciting enough, the Calgary Stampede Showband will be kicking off the pre-show!

- Nik Wallenda: World-record holder Nik Wallenda and his family are bringing their high-wire act to the Midway. Try not to hold your breath while you watch their daring performance high above the crowd. Nik Wallenda’s World Record Calgary Stampede High Wire Walk starts at 7 p.m. on Monday, July 8!
- Bar Nineteen Twelve - Named after the year that started it all, the newest restaurant to the Calgary Stampede brings a welcoming change in pace to the Park. Tucked inside The Big Four Roadhouse, this year-round restaurant offers an intimate experience with a curated cocktail-inspired menu. Open 11 a.m. until Park close during Stampede.

- New Ride – Star Dancer! Brand new for 2019, we present the Star Dancer! This super spectacular ride wows thrill seekers and spectators alike, with it’s over the top spinning motion. As the Star Dancer’s claw begins to spin, the giant pendulum swings back and forth, gaining momentum with each movement until it loops around all 360 degrees and reaches heights of over 70 feet.
