Deadlines near for Calgary Stampede Lotteries Early Bird trips valued at $34,000

Calgary – If you’ve ever wanted to travel to exotic destinations and do it in style, you will want to purchase a ticket right now. As part of its Advance Ticket Campaign, Calgary Stampede Lotteries is offering two amazing Early Bird prizes: a 16-day trip to Turkey valued at $14,000 and a 16-day trip to Africa valued at $20,000. Deadlines for these Early Bird prizes are May 18 and June 8 respectively.



Renowned for its cultural wonders, historic beauty, clear seas and sandy beaches, Turkeypromises to be one of the most breathtaking vacations you will ever take. Your trip includes $3,000 in cash, guided tours of Istanbul’s Blue Mosque, the Hippodrome, the legendary city of Troy and much more.


The second Early Bird prize is a 16-day fully-guided trip for two to Africa. This unforgettable adventure includes $5,000 in cash, luxury accommodations at traditional hotels and exotic tented game camps, a visit to Lake Nakuru and the Serengeti National Park and so much more.


New this year, and only available during the Advance Ticket Campaign, is the Split ‘em 50 lottery tickets and an exclusive bonus with each ticket package purchase: free StampedePark admission and 50 per cent off Stampede Rodeo or Evening Show tickets.


This Centennial year, Calgary Stampede Lotteries is giving away more than $1.2 million in prizes including a dream home, four trucks, a fifth-wheel trailer, a boat, a personal water craft, and $100,000 in cold, hard, tax-free cash.  The proceeds from the Calgary Stampede Lotteries Advance Ticket Campaign will be distributed to four not-for-profit organizations – the Calgary North Hill Lions Club, the Kinsmen Club of Calgary, the Rotary Club of Calgary South and the Calgary Stampede Foundation. These organizations, in turn, distribute funds to valuable programs and projects throughout southern Alberta.
