Debut Solo Album Release concert for local pop singer-songwriter Jocelyn Alice
Calgary – The Calgary Stampede and Stampede Entertainment Inc. are excited to announce the Debut Solo Album Release concert for Calgary’s very own pop singer-songwriter, Jocelyn Alice, on June 12 at The Gateway on SAIT campus.
Jocelyn has had her music licensed on the hit TV shows One Tree Hill and Pretty Little Liars, the movie Dear Santa, and a nationwide Target Commercial. The cover single “So Groovy”, re-written by Jocelyn Alice for Target, has earned over 50,000 sales and charted at #2 on the iTunes Singer/Songwriter chart.
Jocelyn enjoyed considerable success as one half of the duo Jocelyn & Lisa. Together with bassist Lisa Jacobs, Jocelyn & Lisa’s EP charted at #2 on CJSW, and the lead single “Open Wide” was featured on both the documentary 1,000 Days, as well as the TV show Degrassi. Jocelyn’s solo sound deviates from the indie soul sensibilities of Jocelyn & Lisa, and the debut solo album features collaborations with world-renowned DJs and electronic pop artists.
Tickets go on sale to the public on Friday, April 24 at 10 AM, for $19.99 (plus applicable fees). Tickets are on-sale at http://www.ticketmaster.ca/event/11004E879448508B.
