“When developing the new food list each year, we have one guiding principle; each new food should be an experience,” says James Radke, Midway Operations Manager at the Calgary Stampede. “If a new food offering evokes excitement, delight, nostalgia or thrill, that’s when we know we’ve done our job.”

With this year’s newest creations made specifically for the Calgary Stampede, foodies everywhere are going to want to get their hands on these new foods before it’s too late—you won’t be able to taste them anywhere else! Did we mention Deep Fried Bacon Wrapped Reese’s Cups or Deep Fried Burgers? All of these foods can be found alongside the traditional Stampede Midway classics like barbecue, poutine, corndogs and freshly squeezed lemonade.

It’s time to gather your foodie friends, pick your must-eats and plan your Stampede food adventure! Feast your eyes on the full list of this year’s new Midway foods at and keep an eye out for the Midway Food Map, which will be available online later in June.
