“When developing the new food list each year, we have one guiding principle; each new food should be an experience,” says James Radke, Midway Operations Manager at the Calgary Stampede. “If a new food offering evokes excitement, delight, nostalgia or thrill, that’s when we know we’ve done our job.”
With this year’s newest creations made specifically for the Calgary Stampede, foodies everywhere are going to want to get their hands on these new foods before it’s too late—you won’t be able to taste them anywhere else! Did we mention Deep Fried Bacon Wrapped Reese’s Cups or Deep Fried Burgers? All of these foods can be found alongside the traditional Stampede Midway classics like barbecue, poutine, corndogs and freshly squeezed lemonade.
