Calgary – The Calgary Stampede search for the 2017 Queen and Princesses is on and the deadline for applications is quickly approaching.


The Stampede is looking for young women between 19 and 24 years old, who have great horse riding abilities and have a passion for western heritage and values. Applications will be accepted until Monday, August 15.


The Stampede Royalty act as official ambassadors of the Stampede by promoting western heritage and values in the community and around the world. The contest is a youth development program for young women who are passionate about the Stampede and its values, and who wish to give back to the community as ambassadors.
