Finalists announced for the 2015 Stampede Talent Search

Calgary – Over the past two nights, 25 of the top performers, chosen from a field of 58 contestants have been selected for the final round of the competition.


As scored by a panel of professional judges, the 2015 Stampede Talent Search finalists are:

“These contestants moving onto final round of competition represent some of the best young Canadian talent,” says Andrew Bunka, chair, Stampede Talent Search committee.  “This event is becoming a must-see showcase of up-and-coming performers.”


For the final night of competition, a panel of five judges will be responsible for determining who will become the 2015 Stampede Talent Search Champion. This panel includes:

          Bill Avery (producer)

          Michael Bernard Fitzgerald (musician and 2007 Stampede Talent Search champion)

          Ken Lima-Coelho (vocals)

          Michele Moss (dance)

          W. Brett Wilson (entertainment/entrepreneur)


Free with Park admission, the final night of competition takes place Saturday, July 11 at 6:30 p.m. in the Boyce Theatre on Stampede Park. Come early to make sure you get a seat to see who will receive the $10,000 cash Grand Prize, as well as the President’s Trophy, a custom, one-of-a-kind belt buckle and a unique performer development package from the Stampede.
