Calgary – After many months of planning and preparation, we asked our community to ride again – and you have! The 2021 Calgary Stampede is the first step in the safe return to live events for our city and our country. To say thank you and to celebrate the excitement and community spirit, we invite you to walk through our gates on Sunday, July 18, for free. Stampede Park opens at 10:00 a.m., and the offer will run until midnight. Operating safely remains a primary focus of Stampede and this offer is subject to Park capacity.

“We are humbled and grateful for the support we have received from our community,” says Steve McDonough, President & Chairman of the Board. “This celebration is for Calgarians, and we would like to invite everyone to ride with us one more time on Sunday.”

Here’s to everyone who took steps to walk forward with us. To the sponsors who stood by our side. To the volunteers and employees who stood tall. To the athletes, entertainers, and participants who showed up and showed us the way. And to our community, our city. We couldn’t have taken these steps without you walking with us, side by side.

Head to Stampede Park for one final day of fun and celebration. Experience all of the wild rides of the midway one more time. Seek out your favourite foods of the summer and add some new ones to the list. Dance the night away to live music on the Stampede Summer Stage and Nashville North, and close off The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth with your friends and family watching the spectacular fireworks finale together.

Great seats are still available for the Stampede Rodeo where the 2021 Champions will be crowned. And join us for one final night of the Evening Show, featuring Broncs After Dark and the Bell Grandstand Show. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit calgarystampede.com/tickets.
