Calgary – Keep the Stampede spirit going with Chase the Ace and more chances to win this summer! Chase the Ace is a progressive lottery – the first of its kind in Alberta, and online ticket sales will continue each week throughout the summer until an Ace is revealed.

“Chase the Ace has become a popular addition to our lotteries offerings this year and we are so excited the action can continue,” says Jason Azmier, Calgary Stampede Lotteries committee chair. “The anticipation will keep building as the weekly draw will remove another card from the deck and increase the odds of winning the progressive pot.”

In the Chase the Ace lottery, weekly draw winners will receive a minimum of 25% of the pot and a chance to draw an ace. Drawing any ace doubles your winnings.

As excitement builds with the chance of winning, so do the benefit to local charities. “Raising money for the community has been an important tradition of the Calgary Stampede for the past 70 years, and we couldn’t do it without you,” says Azmier.

Proceeds from Chase the Ace support the community programs of the Calgary Stampede, the Calgary Marching Show Band Association, and the charities funded by the Rotary Club of Calgary at Stampede Park and Kinsmen Club of Calgary.

Visit for more information and to purchase tickets. Tickets available from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. (MT). Any inquiries about Chase the Ace can be directed to or by phone at 403-261-0101.
