“It is always a rewarding experience when we draw the prize winners,” says Edward Gordon, Chair of the Calgary Stampede Lotteries Committee. “The excitement when we call the winners is only second to knowing that the proceeds from the Lotteries will go back into the community,” notes Gordon.

Each year, proceeds from the Calgary Stampede Lotteries are distributed to more than 50 local charities, through the help of our partners at the Kinsmen Club of Calgary and the Rotary Club of Calgary South.

“Now, the next step is to hand over the keys and the cheques to the winners and tally up the proceeds to distribute to the charities,” adds Gordon.

The Calgary Stampede Lotteries winners will be awarded their prizes at a special Winners’ Reception on Tuesday, July 24 at 2:30 p.m. in the Brand Room in the Calgary Stampede Headquarters building. Interview opportunities will be available with all prize winners.
