Calgary – On Monday, September 23, 2019, three outstanding young women will be crowned the 2020 Calgary Stampede Queen and Princesses. The crowning is the culmination of what has been an intense, a month long competition where we assess the ability to interact with the public, public speaking skills, team work and interpersonal skills and horsemanship.
On Monday evening, the top six contestants will demonstrate their horsemanship skills and public speaking for the final time, before one queen and two princesses are chosen and crowned.
Throughout their reign, the Royal Trio will make more than 400 appearances as ambassadors of the Stampede, promoting western heritage and values in Calgary and around the world.
