Calgary – The Calgary Stampede continues to work closely with Alberta Health and additional health experts to assure the safety of our guests, partners, volunteers and employees at our annual event this July. The on-Park experience of Stampede will be different this year, and provide an atmosphere that is both safe and enjoyable.
Recognizing and appreciating there are questions about safety measures and experiences at this year’s Calgary Stampede, we would like to invite the media to participate in an informal Q&A session on Monday, June 14, 2021, at Stampede Park.
When: Monday, June 14 - 10:30 a.m.
Where: Hitchin’ Post, Rodeo infield (see attached map for directions and parking details)
*Please note – An audio board will be provided for media use, as speakers will be using individual microphones.
- Steve McDonough, President & Chairman of the Board, Calgary Stampede
- Dana Peers, Interim CEO, Calgary Stampede
- Dr. Jia Hu, public health physician, advisor to the Calgary Stampede
