CALGARY, ALBERTA – It’s not too late to apply to be a part of the 2019 Calgary Stampede Parade. The Calgary Stampede Parade, which hits the streets of downtown Calgary on Friday, July 5, 2019, is the official kickoff to The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth, the Calgary Stampede.

 

“The Stampede Parade has always been a vehicle for Calgary’s charitable, community and social groups, along with our resilient corporate community to come together and celebrate what makes Calgary great,” says Parade Committee chair Karen Franco.  “This year, with Calgary hosting the World Association of Marching Show Bands Championship, we expect the parade to attract an unprecedented international audience.”

The Parade is broadcast live to a regional and national television audience of almost two million people, with approximately 350,000 spectators lining the streets of downtown Calgary to take in the celebration.  Parade fans can also celebrate and engage through social media.
