Calgary – Savanna Sparvier, 2017 Calgary Stampede Indian Princess, will be showcasing her custom designed Stampede Parade regalia on Tuesday, May 9, at 1 p.m., at Alberta Boot Company.

Sparvier’s outfit is a representation of the five nations of Treaty 7 and pays homage to the importance of family legacy and tradition in First Nations culture. Sparvier’s modern take on Duck Chief’s traditional dress features various historic elements that she will be happy to speak to at the reveal.
