Calgary – The Calgary Stampede International Agriculture & Agri-Food committee invites agriculture and local media to attend two international agriculture-focused events during the 2017 Calgary Stampede.
EVENT #1: Canada-Mexico Agribusiness Opportunities Seminar
WHAT: Co-hosted with the consulate of Mexico in Calgary, this seminar will provide participants with an understanding of the opportunities in the agribusiness sector between Canada and Mexico, and actions that both countries are taking to support prospects and economic growth.
WHEN: Tuesday, July 11, 2017

WHERE: Arabian Room - BMO Centre, Stampede Park, Calgary, AB
EVENT #2: International Reception
WHAT: This reception will bring together agriculture industry leaders, government officials, dignitaries, and value chain partners for an evening to celebrate the agriculture and agri-food industry.
WHEN: Wednesday, July 12, 2017
7:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. (formal program to start at 8:00 p.m.)
WHERE: Palomino Room – BMO Centre, Stampede Park, Calgary, AB
Enter through the north doors of the BMO Centre
OTHER: Western dress (jeans, cowboy boots, cowboy hat).
