The Calgary Stampede Parade Committee would like to thank and congratulate the generous donors who contributed $15,000 to local charities for a chance to ride in the “Best Seat in the Parade” wagon. Funds raised go to support: Foothills Academy, STARS, Hospice Calgary, Stardale, Kids Up Front, Canadian Legacy Project, YouQuest Young Onset Dementia and Dinosaur Football’s 5th Quarter Association.
“The 2019 Calgary Stampede Parade was a memorable spectacle paying tribute to the women of the west and the 100th anniversary of the Victory Stampede and our service men and women of the past and present,” says Karen Franco, Chair of the Calgary Stampede Parade Committee. “I congratulate all of the award winners for adding to another great parade.”
