Calgary, AB - Something strange is coming on July 4. To mark the premiere of Stranger Things 3, Netflix is coming to the Calgary Stampede for the first time, bringing the Hawkins’ Fun Fair to the Stampede’s Midway where guests will be transported to Hawkins, Indiana.
“Come on down to our Fourth of July spectacular,” says Mayor Kline. “There will be snacks and delights for everyone, so don’t be a stranger – things get started at 5pm on the Fourth of July.”
Stroll through the Stranger Things Fun House and the mirror maze, but watch where you go as one misstep could transport you to The Upside Down. Take a trip on the Stranger Slide or the Big Ferris Wheel, dare to ride the monster-fied Spider or try your luck at the Balloon Pop game! Get a taste of the different parts of Hawkins, Indiana where’s there’s always something stirring…
Only at Stampede 2019 will you get immersive experiences that blend Stranger Things 3 and the Calgary Stampede to create an amazing fan experience that captures the “unique and extreme” fun that is so iconic.
It all starts on the fourth of July at the Hawkins Fun Fair Calgary Stampede. Don’t be a stranger and make sure to stop by July 4 to 14. One summer can change everything.
