Calgary – Conquer a new ride, return to old favourites and get the adrenaline boost you’ve been waiting for at the 2016 Calgary Stampede Midway.
New for 2016, the Stampede is adding Spin Out, a 45-foot tall rotating claw that will spin you in every way imaginable, including while you’re hanging upside down!
Classics such as the Giant Wheel, Mach 3 and Wave Swinger will be back and waiting for you, as will the numerous games that line the Midway.
Available starting May 20, you can purchase a Ride & Play card for only $37.85 + tax from Calgary and surrounding area Safeway and Sobeys locations, saving more than 25 per cent. It’s valid on all rides, Midway games and the WestJet Skyride. Choose the day you use it and redeem for 60 ride and game coupons or unlimited rides on the day of redemption. Can’t make it to Safeway or Sobeys? Watch for a special exclusive eBay offer starting May 27.
As an added bonus, your Ride & Play card lets you ‘Own the Midway’ during Sneak-A-Peek on July 7, starting at 4 p.m. one hour before the general public, giving you access to all the Midway wonders. If you redeem your Ride and Play Card between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m., you’ll also receive a complimentary Express Pass ($25 value), giving you front of the line access for the remainder of the evening.
