The Calgary Stampede launches McDonald’s Community Day – a day dedicated to our city, its people and community spirit

Calgary – The Calgary Stampede invites Calgary to celebrate the strength, diversity and resiliency of our great city and its people at McDonald’s Community Day on Tuesday, July 10, 2018.

“People are the heartbeat of our city, they are what ignite our community spirit and make us Greatest Together,” says David Sibbald, President and Chairman of the Board of the Calgary Stampede. “We have an incredible community and I invite all Calgarians to come and enjoy this day.”

This special day promises to be an exciting one, fuelled with community spirit, while honouring what makes our city extraordinary. The day will feature roaming entertainment from GlobalFest, a commemorative pin for the first 20,000 guests and $2 admission from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

The McDonald’s Random Acts of Spirit team will be popping up around Stampede Park to deliver fun and memorable experiences – from Rodeo tickets to shopping for western wear, some lucky guests will have the chance to experience Stampede like never before.
