Calgary – Stampede Entertainment Inc. is excited to announce the 2015 Tim Hicks Get a Little Crazy Tour, with special guests Cold Creek County and Jason Benoit, visiting Calgary, St. Albert and Medicine Hat. As the winner of last year’s Rising Star Award and with three 2015 CCMA Award nominations, including Album of the Year, Male Artist of the Year, and Interactive Artist of the Year, Tim Hicks is at the forefront of the Canadian country music scene.


Tim Hicks’ status as one of the most dynamic Canadian country acts seen this decade in undeniable. In 2013 he became the highest selling digital Canadian Country Artist of the Year and was the most played debut artist overall in country radio. In 2014 Hicks was awarded the CCMA for Rising Star of the year, while also receiving two JUNO Award nominations for his debut album Throw Down. The 2014 release of 5:01 boasted five top 10 singles, nearly 4 million YouTube hits and a #1 debut on the SoundScan Country Album Sales chart. 2015 has already seen Tim Hicks win the SOCAN Award for the high-energy hit Got a Feeling, and he is currently nominated for three 2015 CCMAs, including Male Artist of the Year and Album of the Year for 5:01.


Joining Tim on tour is Ontario’s Cold Creek County and Newfoundland’s Jason Benoit. Cold Creek County has witnessed a meteoric rise in 2015. The band’s debut single, Our Town, is the most added debut single by a Canadian country artist. The single has already reached top 10 on the Billboard Canada Country Chart. With three singles charting since 2013, Jason Benoit’s 2015 single Gone Long Gone also achieved top 10 status on the Billboard Canada Country Chart. Jason Benoit is currently nominated for the 2015 CCMA Rising Star award.
