Media Accreditation

Media accreditation is reserved for reporters, writers, videographers, producers and photographers who are on assignment, or directly employed by or on assignment for a recognized media outlet.

While our media accreditation program is focused on journalists, we can offer special consideration to content creators who reach a broad audience and share our core values. If you feel this aligns with your platform, you will have the opportunity to provide additional information through this application (such as your media kit, a detailed proposal outlining your content goals, target audience, etc.) for our consideration. We would be happy to review your application to further consider your request for media credentials.

All applications are considered on an individual basis, however, applying for media accreditation to cover the Calgary Stampede does not guarantee approval.

All media accreditation applications must be submitted through our online application form linked below. We are unable to accept applications submitted in-person or via email. To be as fair, efficient and respectful as possible of the time constraints of our media team, late accreditation requests will not be approved.

DEADLINE TO APPLY: May 31, 2025

Capturing footage (including recordings, photographs, or any other types of media, including live streams or social media) of any event held within GMC Stadium during the 2025 Calgary Stampede is not permitted.
