Stampede Accreditation

From the Rodeo to the Midway to our famous food, the Stampede welcomes media interest in our world-class event happening July 5-14, 2024.

We are accepting applications for media accreditation until Sunday, June 16, 2024.

Media accreditation is reserved for reporters, writers, videographers, producers and photographers who are directly employed by or on assignment for a bona fide media outlet.

Applying for a credential to cover the Calgary Stampede does not guarantee approval. Criteria for approval include, but are not limited to:

• Past coverage of the Calgary Stampede.

• Description of the scope of intended coverage.

• A photo of each applicant.

In an effort to make the media credential application process easier, we have created an online form. All credential applications must be submitted through the online application form.

To be as fair, efficient and respectful as possible of the time constraints of our media team, late credential requests will not be approved.

Please note that filming is not permitted inside GMC Stadium with respect to rodeo events and chuckwagon racing. You may request video of the events and races by e-mailing William McLarnon, wmclarnon@calgarystampede.com.
