The Dog Bowl is back, and it’s bringing the bark to the midway! Presented by Safeway, this fan-favourite Calgary Stampede attraction features the return of the SuperDogs — a high-energy crew of four-legged performers led by local trainers brimming with hometown pride.
Beloved by guests of all ages, the SuperDogs deliver a fast-paced blend of agility, stunts, and crowd-pleasing antics. This year, they’re debuting an all-new show: “Wild Wild Woof,” a western-inspired adventure set at the SuperDogs Ranch, where fun, friendship, and furry talent steal the spotlight.
“We are extremely excited to be back at the Calgary Stampede and bringing an incredible show for our guests,” says Josh Woods, Production Manager and Technical Director of the SuperDogs. “Our incredible cast of talented trainers and dogs work really hard to bring unique and fun tricks to the show.”
The 2025 cast features eight Calgary-based trainers and more than 25 local dogs, showcasing an array of crowd-favourite acts — from boot-stompin’ freestyle dances to jaw dropping disc routines. Each dog and trainer brings their own personality and flair to the stage, making every performance one-of-a-kind.
The fun doesn’t stop when the show ends. Guests are invited to stick around for the Pat N Chat™ - a chance to meet the SuperDogs stars, snap a selfie, and connect with the local trainers who make the magic happen.
“The SuperDogs are back and bringing world-class canine entertainment to our guests,” says Talore Peterson, Entertainment Manager at the Calgary Stampede. “Get ready for incredible tricks, big smiles, and non-stop excitement as these four-legged SuperDogs stars steal the show once again!”
Catch the SuperDogs daily on the south side of Stampede Park in the Dog Bowl Arena at Community Park South. With multiple showtimes each day, and access included with Park admission, it’s a must-see experience for all ages.
Looking for even more action-packed thrills? Be sure to check out the Monster Energy Compound, located just inside the Stampede Trail entrance. Watch as world-class riders defy gravity with insane tricks, flips, and mid-air stunts. New for 2025, catch Street to Sky, a brand-new show featuring street bikes tearing up the course alongside FMX pros.
The Stampede SuperPass is the best value this summer. For just $50 plus fees and GST, enjoy unlimited admission to Stampede Park for all ten days — including access to fan-favourites like the SuperDogs, Monster Energy Compound, and more. It’s an easy, affordable way to make the most of your Stampede experience. Available online or in-store at participating Sobeys, Safeway, IGA, FreshCo, and Chalo FreshCo until July 3, 2025.
