The 2026 Calgary Stampede is only three days away, and whether you’re planning the perfect day on the Midway, cheering on world-class rodeo, rocking out at a Stampede concert or enjoying one of the many experiences across Stampede Park, your Stampede adventure starts with a smooth ride in.
 
No matter your preferred mode of transportation, getting to Stampede Park is easy — all trails leading to Stampede 2026 are open, with road closures supporting the developments in the surrounding Culture + Entertainment District paused for seamless access to Stampede Park.
 
GETTING TO STAMPEDE PARK

Rideshare with Uber
Catch a ride with Uber, the Calgary Stampede’s Official and Exclusive Rideshare Partner!

There are four dedicated Uber pick-up/drop-off zones located on or near Stampede Park:

- Lot 11B near Cowboys Casino (North end of Stampede Park)

- Erlton Exit East of 3rd St (South end of Stampede Park)

- Macleod Trail between 14th and 13th Ave (West end of Stampede Park)

- 10 Ave East of 3rd St. SE (Rideshare Pick-Up only) on the North end of Stampede Park

Designated Taxi drop-off and pickup is also available in the following locations:

- Stampede Trail between 12th and 14th Ave (North end of Stampede Park)

- Lot 7/8 (South end of Stampede Park)

- Macleod Trail between 14th and 13th Ave (West end of Stampede Park)

Calgary Transit
The Stampede Express is ready to roll with 24-hour CTrain service, extended hours on many bus routes and two Express Stampede bus routes. Take the Red Line to the Erlton/Stampede Station or the Victoria Park/Stampede Station, to get right to the action.

Driving
To keep traffic flowing, all major intersections around Stampede Park are now open.
 
Select one-way detours will be in place along 5 St SE, 14 Ave SE and Stampede Trail, helping streamline drop-offs at the north end of Stampede Park.
 
Before heading to the Midway, check the Culture + Entertainment District Stampede 2026 Access Map for the latest traffic routes and designated drop-off locations.
 
Stampede parking is available at three locations: Lot 11 and the Cowboys Casino Parkade Level 2 (333 13th Ave SE), 11 Ave Lot (600 11th Ave SE), and the Greenline Lot (530 12th Ave SE). Accessible parking is available at the same rate in Lot 10 (333 13th Ave SE).

Bikes, Scooters & Walking
If you chose to skip the drive and arrive on two wheels, downtown bike lanes make cycling and scootering a convenient option, with bike and scooter parking available at every entrance on Stampede Park.
 
Bike and scooter parking zones are available at the following locations:

- Lot 7/8 (South end of Stampede Park)

- Lot 10/11 (North end of Stampede Park)

- 14th Ave and Stampede Trail (bike only), west of the Ticket Booths

- 14th Ave and Agriculture Trail intersection (bike only) at the East end of Stampede Park

- 13th Ave and Stampede Trail intersection (scooter only) at the North end of Stampede Park

Prefer to walk? Pull up your bootstraps and get your steps in as sidewalks in and around Stampede Park allow for easy pedestrian access.
 
NAVIGATING AROUND STAMPEDE PARK

With so many experiences offered across Stampede Park, choosing the right entrance can help you get to your favourite attractions faster.
 
For quick access to the Rodeo and Evening Show in GMC Stadium, the Dog Bowl presented by Safeway, Nashville North and the Coca-Cola Stage, use the Erlton (South) Entrance.

For the best access to all the endless entertainment and shopping in the BMO Centre, The Big Four Roadhouse, and some crazy food and fun games at the Midway, use the Victoria Park (West) Entrance.

And if you’re here for the Stampede Concert Series presented by UBER Eats at the Saddledome  (A$AP Rocky, Alanis Morissette) or any other Saddledome events ( the Calgary Surge or the Stampede Powwow presented by TC Energy), a Monster Energy Compound show, Elbow River Camp presented by Enbridge, or the Great FUNtier kids’ Midway, access is easiest from the Stampede Trail (North) Entrance.

Take a break and recharge during your Stampede visit with seating, shaded areas and air-conditioned spaces located throughout Stampede Park. Catch an agricultural competition in the Nutrien Western Event Centre; bring the house down with barbecue and live music at The Big Four Roadhouse; sip on award-winning wines in the Stampede Cellar Champions Wine Experience and/or taste chef-curated bites at the Taste of Stampede presented by Safeway inside the BMO Centre, and more!
