As the sun sets over Stampede Park on Sunday, July 6, The Big Four Roadhouse will come alive for a night of unforgettable music when Grammy-winning headliner Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit bring their signature blend of raw storytelling, Southern rock, and Americana soul to the stage. MJ Lenderman and The Wind, The Paper Kites, Noeline Hofmann, and Boy Golden will also take the stage bringing soaring folk harmonies and gritty alt-country ballads to an unforgettable five artist lineup.

“The Sunday concert at The Big Four Roadhouse is a world-class artist staple, and this year’s lineup is no exception,” says Adam Oppenheim, President of Stampede Entertainment. “With a mix of powerful storytelling, rich melodies and unforgettable performances, this night will capture the heart and energy of Calgary’s music lovers like never before.”

Tickets for this can’t-miss concert experience go on sale to the public on Friday, Feb. 28, at 10 a.m. MST. Tickets are $79.00 (plus applicable fees and taxes) and will be available through calgarystampede.com/the-big-four-roadhouse. Concert tickets include admission to the Calgary Stampede on the day of the event, allowing fans to experience all the fun Stampede has to offer before the show.

MJ Lenderman and The Wind

Lenderman's solo discography includes critically acclaimed albums such as Boat Songs (2022) and Manning Fireworks (2024). His songwriting is celebrated for its raw authenticity and poignant storytelling, drawing comparisons to artists like Neil Young.

The Paper Kites

The Paper Kites are an Australian indie rock/folk rock band from Melbourne, formed in 2009 by lead vocalist and guitarist Sam Bentley and keyboardist and guitarist Christina Lacy. The band's lineup also includes David Powys (guitars, banjo, lap steel, backing vocals), Sam Rasmussen (bass guitar, synthesizers), and Josh Bentley (drums, percussion). They gained initial recognition with their 2010 single "Bloom," which has been certified Platinum in the United States. Their latest album, At the Roadhouse, was released on September 1, 2023. Known for their ethereal, moody sound and harmonious vocals, the band has evolved from their folk-inspired beginnings to explore a range of genres, establishing themselves as a dynamic and influential presence in the indie music scene.

Noeline Hofmann

Noeline Hofmann is a 20-year-old singer-songwriter from the Badlands of Southern Alberta who has rapidly emerged as a compelling new voice in alternative country music. Hofmann's music blends the expansive beauty of the Plains with authentic storytelling, reflecting her experiences working in honky-tonks and on cattle ranches across Western Canada. Her breakout single, "Purple Gas," gained significant attention after being featured on Zach Bryan's "Belting Bronco" series, leading to a duet version on Bryan's album, The Great American Bar Scene. The song has since garnered over 42 million streams, establishing Hofmann as a rising star.

Boy Golden

Boy Golden is a Canadian alternative country singer-songwriter based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He released his debut album, Church of Better Daze, in 2021, followed by the EP For Jimmy in 2023, and the album For Eden in 2024. His music blends elements of classic country, psych-folk, and Americana, characterized by introspective lyrics and a warm, gritty sound. Boy Golden has been recognized for his engaging live performances and has been nominated for Contemporary Singer of the Year at the 18th Canadian Folk Music Awards in 2023 and Contemporary Album of the Year at the 20th Canadian Folk Music Awards in 2025 for For Jimmy.
