Calgary, AB – All Elite Wrestling (AEW) announced today that its new live event series, “AEW House Rules,” will debut in Canada under the Saddledome lights for a live show on Saturday, July 15.

“AEW House Rules” is a new, non-televised live event series that will showcase exhilarating matchups featuring AEW stars. The series kicks off on Saturday, March 18 in Troy, Ohio, at the Hobart Arena and will feature Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Dr. Britt Baker, Darby Allin, Orange Cassidy, and many more. Each “AEW House Rules” event offers an even more immersive experience for fans, including customized merchandise, unique ways to engage with featured talent and in-show interactions different from what is featured on televised AEW programming.

“We are thrilled to see wrestling return to Stampede Park, the home of the legendary Stampede Wrestling promotion. Calgary is one of the premier wrestling cities in the world, so it’s no surprise that the Calgary Stampede is the premier destination for AEW to bring their ‘House Rules’ show,” said Adam Oppenheim, President, Stampede Entertainment Inc. “Wrestling fans will be ecstatic at the opportunity to see this electrifying roster, live and in-person.”

Founded by CEO, GM and Head of Creative Tony Khan in 2019, AEW is the new professional wrestling league taking the world by storm with its meteoric rise, record-high ratings, world-class roster and highly entertaining product. AEW’s star-studded roster includes Chris Jericho, Kenny Omega, Bryan Danielson, MJF, Jon Moxley, Jamie Hayter, Saraya, Matt & Nick Jackson, Darby Allin, Sting, Orange Cassidy, Jade Cargill, Dr. Britt Baker, Claudio Castagnoli, Adam Cole, The Acclaimed, Jungle Boy, Samoa Joe, Athena, Toni Storm, Ricky Starks, Wardlow, and Powerhouse Hobbs. Further bolstering its global pop culture infiltration, AEW has launched impressive collections of video games, action figures, trading cards, merchandise and more.

“We wanted our first ‘AEW House Rules’ show in Canada to be extraordinary and memorable, and there’s no better venue to bring out the best in our talent and creativity than the iconic Calgary Stampede,” said Jeff Jarrett, AEW’s Director of Business Development. “We love the concept of wrestling under the lights at the Saddledome, and we can’t wait for fans to experience our live show in one of the coolest venues in Canada. In addition to satisfying the passions of diehard wrestling fans, we’re excited about creating new fans of all ages on July 15 at the Calgary Stampede.”

“We look forward to putting on an unforgettable ‘AEW House Rules’ show for the passionate fans of Calgary,” said Rafael Morffi, AEW’s VP of Live Events. “We're thrilled to be included in one of Canada's biggest annual events, and we’re excited to bring the high-octane action of AEW to the Saddledome.”
