Superstar Pitbull is ready to give everything on July 7

March 21, 2023

Calgary – After a sold-out tour in 2022, Pitbull has eyes set on The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth. The global superstar is bringing a concert that will electrify the Stampede’s biggest stage on Friday, July 7 and have fans on their feet all night.

“We are thrilled to have Pitbull headline the Saddledome on the first day of Stampede,” says Adam Oppenheim, President, Stampede Entertainment Inc. “Pitbull is renowned worldwide for an incredible show with unparalleled energy and countless hits. It’s the perfect concert to kick off the Calgary Stampede.”

Professionally known as Pitbull, Armando Christian Pérez is a GRAMMY®-winning independent international superstar, education advocate, business entrepreneur and motivational speaker. He rose to fame with his pop album Planet Pit, which featured the song Give Me Everything. An undeniable hit, the song quickly went to number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and was the first of many smash hits for the talented artist. Never slowing down, his global success has garnered the name Mr. Worldwide, including hundreds of gold and platinum certifications, millions of single sales, and cumulative video views in excess of 15 billion.

With a GRAMMY® win and a mantle full of awards, Pitbull is using his musical success to propel his offstage passions. He helped establish the Sports Leadership Arts and Management (SLAM!) foundation which supports the expansion of tuition-free, public charter schools in underrepresented communities across the United States. He is also a partner in eMerge Americas, the annual tech and innovation summit, and was honored alongside music legends as well as Nobel Peace Prize and Pulitzer Prize winners at the 2019 International Achievement Summit.

July 7 is all about the music though, with tickets for this high energy concert on sale to the general public Friday, March 24 at 10 a.m. (MST).
