CALGARY, AB (Feb. 9, 2026) – The Calgary Stampede is set to welcome one of the most influential artists in contemporary music as Canada’s Own Alanis Morissette brings her powerful live show to the Scotiabank Saddledome on Saturday, July 11 as part of the Stampede Concert Series presented by Uber Eats at Stampede 2026.
For more than three decades, Alanis Morissette has been a defining voice in modern music, celebrated for her deeply expressive songwriting and emotionally charged performances. Her groundbreaking 1995 debut Jagged Little Pill launched a career that has since spanned nine additional acclaimed albums, with iconic songs including Ironic, You Oughta Know, Hand in My Pocket and Thank U continuing to resonate with audiences worldwide.
“As a Canadian artist whose music has had a global impact, Alanis’ performance at the Stampede reflects the kind of meaningful, high-calibre live music experience audiences expect at The Greatest Music Festival in the West,” said Meghan Kivisto, Vice-President, Sales, Marketing and Programming at the Calgary Stampede.
Beyond her recording career, Morissette’s impact extends across stage and screen. Jagged Little Pill: The Musical made its Broadway debut in 2019, earning 15 Tony Award nominations and winning two. Her recent touring success includes a sold-out world tour celebrating the 25th anniversary of Jagged Little Pill — the number one female-fronted tour of 2021 — followed by the 35-date North American Triple Moon Tour, which sold more than half a million tickets and packed venues across the continent.
