When the Calgary Stampede returns in 2026, guests will see a new addition rising above the infield at GMC Stadium.
Located atop the new North Infield Building, currently under construction, the Corona Skydeck introduces a new way to experience the Rodeo and Evening Show—one designed around energy, connection, and a rooftop atmosphere unlike anything the Stampede has offered before.
“The Corona Skydeck is about creating an entirely different way for people to gather at the Stampede,” said Meghan Kivisto, Vice-President, Sales, Marketing and Programming at the Calgary Stampede. “It’s elevated, it’s social, and it’s designed to immerse guests in the energy of the infield in a way that hasn’t existed here before.”
With capacity for over 300 guests, the space is intentionally designed for movement and mingling, featuring a social-style layout that encourages guests to circulate, connect and experience the thrills of the Rodeo and Evening Show, rather than remain seated throughout the events.
From its rooftop vantage point, guests will enjoy a continuous offering of chef-crafted, Stampede-inspired bites, along with soft drinks and juice, as part of their ticketed experience. Alcoholic and zero-proof beverages will also be available for purchase. Live-action screens throughout the space will ensure guests stay connected to every moment of competition.
The Corona Skydeck is part of a broader redevelopment of the North Infield, which also includes additional premium suites within the new building. Together, the upgrades enhance the Stampede’s premium hospitality offerings while solidifying the North Infield as a destination within GMC Stadium.
Skydeck tickets also include full-day admission to Stampede 2026 on the date of their ticket, allowing guests to enjoy everything the Stampede has to offer before heading to the rooftop for the Rodeo or the Rangeland Derby Chuckwagon Races presented by Play Alberta and the Relay Races. Following the final Relay Race in the evening, Skydeck guests can continue their night from ground level as the infield transitions for the Grandstand Show. Learn more about the Corona Skydeck here.
