In 2025, Andrea Park bought her first Stampede Lotteries ticket as a leap of faith.

“My parents have been buying tickets for 23 years and they never lost hope,” says Andrea. “This was my first time buying a ticket, and I thought, ‘This could be my chance to own a home.’”

That chance became reality when Andrea, alongside her partner, daughter and parents, received a phone call saying that she had won the 2025 Rotary Dream Home.

“All I heard was, ‘You better be sitting down,’ and then I heard the words ‘Dream Home’ and ‘Stampede.’ I was already on the floor.”

As a multi-generational household, the home has created space for Andrea, her partner, daughter and parents, to live together while building toward the future.

“We’ve been creating so many memories here,” says Andrea. “For the family living in the house with me, it has changed so much, and for myself, it’s changed everything.”

This year marks the 30th Rotary Dream Home built in partnership with Homes by Avi, a milestone that reflects decades of dreams realized for families across Calgary.

Proceeds from Calgary Stampede Lotteries support a range of community initiatives across Alberta through its service club partners, including the Rotary Club of Calgary at Stampede Park, the Kinsmen Club of Calgary and the Calgary Marching Show Band Association.

One example is The PREP Society’s K–6 program, supported through the Kinsmen Club of Calgary, which helps students with Down syndrome build confidence, strengthen social skills and develop skills for everyday life.

Advance ticket packages for the 2026 Calgary Stampede Lotteries are now available online at calgarystampedelotteries.ca.
