From bluegrass to folk, to americana and country, there will be no shortage of good times at The Big Four Roadhouse on Sunday, July 7. Headlined by The Dead South and Shakey Graves, and joined by Sam Barber, Katie Pruitt and Jake Vaadeland & The Sturgeon River Boys, this is a stacked music line up that will not disappoint.

The Dead South The Dead South feature a progressive approach to acoustic music that favours intricate solos and harmonies. A brotherhood first and foremost, The Dead South have brought in two JUNO Awards for Traditional Album of the Year, sold out shows at iconic venues including the Ryman Auditorium and a hugely entertaining take on the traditional string band sound.

Shakey Graves Shakey Graves - born Alejandro Rose-Garcia - balances innovative sounds with an interactive show that allows fans to fully immersive themselves in his music. He intentionally creates thrilling musical adventures tailored to each fan for a personalized experience.

Sam Barber Boasting the breakout single “Straight and Narrow”, Sam Barber’s journey began at age 16 when he discovered his love of music. His amazing sound, talent and passion is felt by fans, and he is sure to deliver a performance to remember.

Katie Pruitt Nominated for Emerging Act of the Year at the Americana Music Association and Southwest Magazine’s Artist on the Rise, Katie Pruitt has established herself as an incredible musician and talented artist.

Jake Vaadeland & The Sturgeon River Boys Hailing from Saskatchewan, Jake Vaadeland boasts a unique music style that can be described as a blend of bluegrass and 50s rockabilly. In addition to his incredible vocals, Jake’s electrifying performance is highlighted by his skills on the guitar and banjo, making for a high energy performance with The Sturgeon River Boys.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, March 1, at 10 a.m. MST, priced at $79 plus applicable fees and taxes, and can be purchased here. All ticket purchases include admission to the Calgary Stampede on the day of the concert, allowing fans to experience a full day of Stampede excitement before and after the show.
