If you’re an artist, musician or photographer, then the Calgary Stampede’s Western Oasis is looking for you! Applications for the 2023 Stampede Art Show are now open. Located in the Western Oasis in the BMO Centre during our annual celebration in July, the Calgary Stampede Art Show has several opportunities for many types of artists to show off their artistic talents.

Applications are open for the following:

Artists’ Studios presents established Canadian and American artists who showcase fine art in a variety of mediums the opportunity to show and sell their work.

The Art Gallery is dedicated to providing a venue for new and emerging artists to show and sell original works of art.

The Calgary Stampede Grade 12 Scholarship program fosters youth education through the celebration and advocacy of western art. The competition is open to all Calgary and southern Alberta Grade 12 students.

The Mini Masterpieces Salon Wall exhibits smaller original artworks by local and area artists priced at $300 or less.

The theme for the 2023 Western Showcase Photography Exhibition is “Moving Beyond.” With areas for photographers to submit work for competition, viewing and for sale.

The Window on The West Stage showcases live local and area Musicians multiple times daily, with various musical styles.
